Twenty years ago, Ute Walter (Hamburg) claimed that women could be great leaders in tango. And proved it! A few years later, she founded the first international queer tango festival.

Brigitta Winkler (Berlin) discovered tango in the early 80s in Buenos Aires. She is a curious woman. She loves tradition and innovation and has a special gift at unlocking her students’ creativity.
